Riders and Mic Information

"FATS" Show Rider: 

TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION 

1. ACCOMMODATIONS 
Purchaser agrees to provide, at its expense, one (1) standard room (per person) at a location not to exceed 5 miles from the venue (rooms at venue preferred). If a technician is required, an additional room will also be required. Purchaser shall be responsible for the booking and payment of these rooms. 

2. AIR TRAVEL  
Purchaser agrees to provide, at its expense, one coach class flight (per person) to the location of the show. Direct flights are preferred whenever possible. If a technician is required, an additional flight will also be required at purchaser’s expense. 

3. GROUND TRANSPORTATION 
Purchaser agrees to provide, at his/her expense, ground transportation that includes but is not limited to; 
a) Rental vehicle to and from the airport, and use of vehicle between these times, or 
b) Taxi to and from airport 
c) Taxi to and from venue 

4. PER DIEM 
Purchaser agrees to provide, at his/her expense, one (1) meal (per person) on the day(s) of the performance. These may be ordered from hotel room service or at the venue (provided the venue has food). PER DIEM SHALL NOT EXCEED $35 PER DAY PER PERSON. 

SOUND REINFORCEMENT, LIGHTING, DRESSING ROOM 

1. SOUND CHECK  
“FATS” requires a two (2) hour sound check and technical setup period. Purchaser shall not allow the audience to enter the place of performance until such time as sound check and technical setup has been completed. Setup and sound check shall be completed at least two (2) hours prior to the time of performance, provided that Purchaser makes the place of performance available for said setup at least four (4) hours prior. Minimum of three (3), 1/2 liter bottles of water per show will be placed on stage prior to sound check. 

2. SOUND SYSTEM  
Purchaser agrees to provide, at its expense, adequate staging and sound reinforcement including but not limited to:  
a) One (1) Baby Grand piano, tuned to A-440 in the venue the day of performance, and proper microphones for piano amplification. If Baby Grand piano is not available, this can be substituted with a Yamaha CP300 Stage Piano with a Baby Grand style piano shell and a Behringer "Ultratone" K3000FX Keyboard Amplifier. 
b) One small table (black; if possible) to be set next to piano for CD track player. Table must have access to power and cables with RCA connections to mixing console 
c) One (1) microphone of Shure Beta 58A quality or better and long boom stand for vocals. 
d) A mixing console with a separate monitor send, one (1) floor wedge monitor with at least 15" woofers and proper amplification to power them.  
e) Front of the house speakers and amplification proper for the venue size. 

3. LIGHTING  
Purchaser agrees to provide, at its expense, a lighting system for the stage including but not limited to:  
a) Eight (8) loaded, hung and color gelled lighting cans, PAR 56 or PAR 64, 500 watts or larger and dimmer packs adequate to power such lighting. 
b) A foot controlled lighting console with 8 scenes or more, placed at the foot of the stage piano. A lighting technician may be substituted if no controller is available. 

4. PERSONNEL  
Purchaser agrees to provide, at its expense, qualified personnel to set up and operate the sound equipment. 

5. DRESSING ROOM 
Purchaser agrees to provide a secure and private room with adequate lighting, mirrors, seating, sink, toilet, area for hanging clothes for cast of “FATS”. 

6. CHANGES 
Any changes made to the above equipment list (2. a, b, c, d, e and/or 3. a, b) or rider may not be modified without approval by the producer or cast of “FATS” the MUSICAL. Producer, cast, or crew of “FATS” will not be responsible for a lesser quality performance due to the lack of adequate staging, lighting, and proper sound reinforcement. PRODUCER, CAST, OR CREW OF “FATS” THE MUSICAL ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CANCELLATION DUE TO UNAUTHORIZED CHANGES OF THE TERMS OF THIS RIDER.
